Level 1 Award in Responsible Alcohol Retailing
The Award In Responsible Alcohol Retailing is designed for anyone who works on licensed retail premises and involved with the sale of alcohol including;

This qualification provides essential knowledge and understanding of the responsibilities of alcohol retailers authorised by a personal license holder to sell alcohol.It will enable those who complete the qualification to act within the law and to support the designated premises supervisor to retail alcohol responsibly on their licensed premises.
The Award in Responsible Alcohol Retailing is a one day course which includes a short 25 question multiple-choice exam.Training is supported by the BIIAB ARAR handbook.This handbook is written in an easy-to follow format and contains all the information needed to pass the exam.The BIIAB ARAR is accredited by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority.
Candidates can receive training on site or attend a course at a registered training venue.

Level 2 National Certificate for Personal Licence Holders
Licensing law in England and Wales states that anyone who authorises the sale of alcohol to the public must hold a personal licence.To obtain a personal licence an application is made to the licensing authority who require a government approved licensing qualification such as the BIIAB NCPLH.

Level 2 National Certificate for Designated Premise Supervisors
The BIIAB NCDPS is a nationally recognised qualification for both existing Designated premise Supervisors,and those who may be required to take up this post in the future,working in any type of licensed premise:
Candidates should have achieved the BIIAB Level 2 National Certificate for Personal Licence Holders or have equivalent knowledge.
This qualification was developed in conjunction with the local government,police,and the industry,to support the new post of the Designated Premise Supervisor created by the Licensing Act 2003.
The National Certificate for Designated Supervisors is a one day course which includes a short multiple-choice exam.Training is supported by the BIIAB handbook.This handbook is written in an easy-to-follow format and contains all the information to pass the exam.The qualification is also supported by a CDROM which enables the user to review existing policies in licensed premises,suggests ways in which such policies can support the four licensing objectives,and produces a record of these policies which can be saved and printed.The BIIAB NCDPS is accredited by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority
